Pure publishing PoD
Is the art of providing product to market within a few days of order (slightly longer for a new product) enabling the publisher to make considerable savings on stock inventories and to maximise cash flow.
For individuals self-publishing can be achieved from as few as one (yes one) copy - although typically 50 will be the economic norm. Distribution is available for small publishing companies; either as a full-service offering from one of the UK's largest independent distributors (allowing all types of publications as well as those for STM, Religious and Art publications to be handled efficiently either to end users or bookshops) or as a direct facility for self-publishers.
Other Publications
For all other publications PoD is a significant benefit. Conference publications, Training Manuals, Workshop booklets alongside many, many others make it possible to produce just enough to deal with antiacipated demand safe in the knowledge that waste is being largely eliminated and that, should demand exceed supply, a fresh short print run can replenish stocks within a few hours.
